Our final product

Testing the prototype with a real cat gave us insights into its effectiveness. By looking at the cat's behavior and response to the scratching post, we could measure whether the design was engaging, comfortable, and appealing to cats. The positive feedback that we received from the cat's interaction with the prototype confirmed that our design met the requirements and provided a satisfactory experience for the users.

We also let a few people see our instruction manual, and asked them to let us know if the instructions were clear, and if they would be able to follow them easily. The feedback we received from them was positive, they told us that even someone who did not have great English would be able to follow our instruction manual because we did not use any hard language and described things in a way anyone would understand it.
